Tonight for Dinner I decided to treat my wife to a delicious home cooked dinner. I cooked teriyaki tuna steak and Asian bbq rice. For the tuna steak I marinated it overnight in a mixture of pineapple teriyaki sauce, orange Olive oil and ginger. I cooked the tuna steaks in my super wave oven at 450 for 8 minutes on a side. The rice was a rice and pasta blend in a sweet soy sauce with ginger and sesame. The tuna steak was purchased from a guy going door to door selling seafood and the price was worth it. I am biased because I cooked it but my wife was also impressed with how delicious this meal was. In my opinion the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce combined amazingly well with the orange in the Olive oil and the spiciness from the ginger. The fish was delicious. The rice was the perfect side for the tuna steak and it also tasted delicious. I highly recommend this dish even if it was cooked by me. It filled me up.
