Today after missing lunch at work I decided I wanted to go out for a burger.
I decided to go to the Garage Grill in Draper Utah and get a burger.
I ordered a Tenessee Mule cocktail to drink and for my burger I selected the Mushroom Bacon Burger with a side house salad with creamy gorgonzola dressing.
The cocktail was delicious and I really enjoyed the fact that they didn’t dilute it down to the point that you couldn’t taste the Makers Mark Bourbon.
The burger was a decent sized pattie topped with mushrooms, carmalized onions, candies applewood bacon and Swiss cheese.
The burger was one of the best that I have had. It was cooked perfectly. The bacon was not just a skimpy little piece it was a decent slice and was nice and thick. The flavors of the mushrooms and onions paired amazingly well with the bacon and burger. The bun was nice and fresh and not overly dry.
The salad was also amazing and the ingredients were nice and fresh. The dressing was delicious and I would love to get some of this to use at home.
I would say that the value for the money on this meal was great. I went in hungry and left full.
I highly recommend The Garage Grill and the Mushroom Bacon Burger. I look forward to going back and trying other items on the menu.
