Last night for dinner I cooked home made Mac N Cheese.
To prepare this delicious dish I took tablespoons of butter and melted it in the Power Pressure Cooker XL, I then took 2 cups of water and a 16 ounce package of elbow macaroni which I cooked until the water was absorbed into the pasta. I then took 2 cups of heavy cream and cream, 5 ounces of shredded assiago cheese and 5 ounces of cheddar back cheese and mixed it with the elbow macaroni. I cooked the Mac n Cheese for 10 minutes using the rice/rosoto setting on the Power pressure cooker xl.
In my opinion this Mac n Cheese was amazing and cooked perfectly. I think the asiago cheese added a nice sharp flavor to this dish. It tasted delicious.
Now for what my wife Barb said about it.
“It was creamy, cheesy and tastes much better than the box ever could.
I would have preferred less cream and liquid. Seasoning like Pepper or herbs. And possibly veggies and or meat inside. He thinks I’m nuts for saying it needed veggies or meat inside. Haha”
I thouroughly enjoyed preparing, cooking and eating this delicious dinner.
