Today for lunch I decided to try a new place that several people have said that I should try. I visited Jinya Ramen Bar in Murray Utah.
For my Ramen I selected the Jinya Tonkotsu Black Ramen.
The Ramen consisted of pork broth with pork chashu, kikurage, green onion, nori dried seaweed, seasoned egg, garlic chips, garlic oil, fried onions and served with thin noodles.
The ramen itself was tasty. The egg was really flavorful and cooked just right. The pork chashu was also very delicious and was cooked to perfection. The noodles were also very delicious and cooked perfectly. As far as the broth this was a disappointment to me. The broth had ok flavor and you could really taste the garlic however it was too greasy for my taste.
As far as value for the money I think the ramen was a little too pricey for me. I have had better ramen for less money at other ramen places in Utah.
I would say of you are in the area give them a try but it’s not a place I would drive to. I may go back and try them again in the future.
