Today for lunch I decided that I wanted to go to Samurai Noodle in Draper Utah and get something other than Ramen.
I ordered the Houston Rice Bowl and the Karaage Appetizer.
The Houston Rice Bowl is a bowl of rice with house spicy garlic sauce, teriyaki sauce and green onions. The Karaage is Japanese fried chicken with a ginger kick. I asked for mine with the creamy wasabi sauce which I suggested that they add on 1 of my visits.
The Houston Rice bowl was amazing. The rice was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I really enjoyed the spiciness from the house spicy garlic sauce combined with the sweetness of the Teriyaki sauce. The Karaage was absolutely phenomenal and I have to say this is 1 of my favorite appetizers anywhere. The chicken was fried perfectly and had amaxing flavor. The creamy wasabi sauce was nice and creamy and had a nice kick but was not overpowering. I am extremely glad that they offer this sauce choice.
I also want to say that Lance Uno who runs this place is amazing. I really appreciate how he interacts with his customers.
I would say that I got a great value for my money and definitely got full.
I highly recommend Samurai Noodle and will definitely go back.
